I Tried a Prostate Massager for the First Time - Here's What Happened
I Tried a Prostate Massager for the First Time. Here's What Happened.
As we become more experimental and open about our fetishes, anal play becomes increasingly acceptable. Not too many years ago, butt play was taboo for both men and women. Now, thanks to the sex-positive movement, many people today immerse themselves in various sexual fetishes, including anal play, to level up their sex lives. And they're using toys. I decided to give one of these toys, the prostate massager, a try. Read on to learn about my experience.
What are prostate massagers?
Prostate massagers are sex toys that massage the prostate. Some people call this form of massage prostate milking or milking the prostate. Prostate massagers all have the same design that features a curved shaft that tapers toward the tip and usually ends with a pin that stimulates the prostate. The massagers can operate manually, through vibration or a "come hither" mechanism. The latter make a "come hither" motion while inside the anal cavity. Numerous varieties of massagers are available. I went with a generic massager, nothing too fancy. I'm just experimenting, after all.
Prostate massages serve medical and recreational purposes. Doctors use prostate massages during screenings to detect prostate cancer. However, most people use prostate massages for fun. Many men massage their prostate to enhance their sex life, as the massage is really pleasurable.
What is the prostate gland, anyway?
The prostate gland is a male reproductive gland that's roughly the size of a walnut. The gland secretes the liquid that makes up about one-third of semen; seminal vesicle liquid and sperm make up the rest. The secretion of liquid from the prostate causes the spasm you feel when you ejaculate.
People often compare the prostate to the g-spot (the spongy area inside the vagina wall), which produces powerful orgasms with the right amount of stimulation. Like the g-spot, the prostate is an extremely sensitive erogenous zone that triggers intense orgasms. Stimulating the prostate gland can induce a projection of ejaculate that exceeds the typical one.
How I used it
The best way to stimulate your prostate is a matter of preference. Like me, you can decide to experiment with a prostate massager. It's a straightforward process: I gently inserted the massager into my anal cavity and switched on the vibrate. It took a moment to get used to the feeling, but I eventually relaxed and let it do what it does best.
If you want to take small baby steps, though, you can start by massaging along your perineum, that sensitive area between your scrotum and penis. Also, if, like me, you have hygiene concerns, just do a number two about an hour before the prostate massage. If you plan to use a prostate massager, it's a good idea to keep it clean.
Here's what it feels like
Some guys try the prostate massage once and like it. Honestly, I was a bit torn at first. It took a bit of getting used to. I felt the same way about it as I do most new tech toys I try: It grew on me. I'm glad I stuck with it long enough that it began to work for me, because with it I achieved orgasms that were not only very different but also far more intense than any orgasms I've achieved solely from penile stimulation.
The first few times, the orgasms localized near the prostate area. After getting the hang of it, I was able to achieve orgasms that produced sensations akin to waves traveling through my pelvic region. The nature of the orgasm, its intensity, and how soon it came depends on the type of massager you use and the amount of pressure you apply on your prostate. It also depends on the person, obviously, as we all have different thresholds for sexual release. The key is to be patient and give it enough time. If, like me, it's your first time, you might not get orgasms every time. There's definitely a learning curve to it. With practice, though, you develop your own process that can reliably give you a climax.
It's a fun experiment
I'd recommend giving it a try. You'll get the hang of it in no time and, soon enough, you'll be giving yourself prostate orgasms as easily as penile orgasms.
It takes some practice. The experience is no doubt insanely erotic and pleasurable. If you can get your partner on board with the prostate massage, your sex life will reach new heights, as mine did.
Oh, and if you're worried that pleasuring your prostate will make you gay, you can relax. It won't. My sexuality is still intact. What the prostate massager did, however, was level up my sexual pleasure. Regardless of their sexuality, many males have improved their sex life by adding this instrument to their pleasure menu.
